(English) Residents of 40 villages from the Republic of Moldova benefit from better communal services, due to the continuous development of ten joint inter-municipal enterprises.

(English) NALAS, the USAID-funded Planning and Local Governance Project (PLGP) and the Association of Municipalities of Albania will collaborate to organize a peer learning workshop on “Best Practices in Local Government Finance Legislation: the SEE Experience and the Challenges Facing Albania“, to take place in Tirana, on 9-10 February 2016.

(English) On 14th January 2016, the 3rd Steering Committee of the LADDER Project took place online, gathering the co-applicants and other associates of the project.

(English) The first year of the “Balkan regional platform for youth participation and dialogue” project is coming to an end. Coordinated by ALDA, and implemented by the seven LDAs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo, together with the ALDA Skopje Office from Macedonia, this project aimed on increasing awareness on youth participation, youth activism and the possibilities for young people to create and influence the policies closely related to them.

(English) ALDA’s Secretary General, Antonella Valmorbida and Aldo Xhani, Coordinator of the Citizenship Programme, attended the plenary meeting of the newly established Civil Society Europe (CSE) platform, held last 22 January in Brussels.

În urmă cu câțiva ani, la Ciugud, s-a înființat Grupul Local de Acțiune Țara Secașelor Alba-Sibiu, unul dintre cele mai performante GAL-uri din țară, care, până în prezent, a implementat cu succes 55 de proiecte pentru modernizarea comunităților rurale din microregiunea Țara Secașelor.

O delegatie din Edineț a fost în vizită la Primăria Tîrgu Ocna din România. Din delegația moldoveană au făcut parte: primarul din Edineț – Constantin Cojocari, Victor Rusanovschi – medic urolog, Marin Russu – prof. și directorul Liceului Teoretic “Pan – Halipa”, Constantin Nicoara – ag. de turism și Constantin Rusanovschi – președintele Asociației Pro Basarabia și Bucovina.
