On 22 February 2017, in CALM office was held a meeting between representatives of the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova (CALM) and Mr. Emile Gros-Raymond-Nakombo, mayor of Bangui, capital of Central African Republic.During the meeting were discussed various aspects of decentralization, public administration reform, dialogue between central and local government, as well as current issues that LPAs  in both countries are facing.In this context, Ms. Tatiana Badan mayor of Selemet  village, Cimislia rayon, President of the Congress of Local Authorities in Moldova stressed that for modernization and development of local communities of any state areal decentralization of power is a must. At the end of the meeting the parties agreed to continue dialogue and cooperation in the future.
